Post provides an opportunity for further specialised training in advanced chronic liver disease, complex hepatology, liver transplantation, liver cancer & viral hepatitis. It is envisaged that this post is ideal for those who have completed training and have a CCT or are at an advanced stage in their specialist training and wish to gain further training (ST6 and above).

The exact job plan could be individualised to a successful candidates’ needs, but is proposed to encompass rotating in 3-month blocks between advanced chronic liver disease, liver transplantation, liver cancer, and viral hepatitis. In all blocks, we will actively encourage participation in clinical trials and research, although this is intended to be primarily a clinical training post and not a research fellowship. It is envisaged that this post would be for a period of 12 months. There is a 1 in 7 on-call commitment.
