Join us for this 1-day basic nutrition training day for trainees taking place at the IET Austin Court, Birmingham on Monday 7th October 2024.

Key learning objectives

1. Understanding of core concepts of nutrition including identifying malnutrition and managing refeeding syndrome
2. Troubleshooting of enteral tubes – both a theoretical and practical approach
3. Managing emergency nutrition in patients with eating disorders
4. Dealing with nutritional problems as the oncall registrar

Attendance fee: £50 

Attendance fee will be refunded to BSG and BAPEN members who attend. Non-members and no shows will not be refunded.

Due to the interactive nature of this event, the training day will take place fully face-to-face and we regret that we cannot offer virtual attendance.

We are prioritising registration for BSG and BAPEN members. Please note that industry who register for this event will automatically have their registration cancelled. We kindly ask that you do not register for this event if you are industry. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

• One week before the event – a 50% refund will be given
• Less than one week before an event – no refund will be given
