28-04-2025 @ 09:30 - 06-05-2025 @ 12:30
Birmingham (Venue TBC) & 3 St Andrews Place, London
The BSG is delighted to be able to host chair coaching workshops. The ability to speak confidently to an audience can often be a decisive factor in most people’s career progression. This may partly explain why so many of us dread it – the pressure, the anxiety, the fear of failure. The truth is that very few people are naturals; it’s a skill to be learned, developed and practised, and it’s a skill that everyone can acquire.
Led by writer and business leader Matthew Gidley, in one of these three-hour sessions, we will take you through the most important aspects of being a good chair: timekeeping, preparedness, nerves, ensuring chairs are at ease, being engaged with the audience, and more.
Sessions:
Attendance Fee: £50
The attendance fee will be refunded to BSG members who attend. Non-members and no shows will not be refunded.
The BSG is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. All staff, members, event attendees and sponsors are required to follow this Code of Conduct.
