This is a web based colon capsule reading course designed to train aspiring practitioners to perform and read full capsule studies reliably. The entire curriculum can be completed part time from work or home and it conforms to the standards recommended by European and American authorities.

The web based training is especially suitable for GI/colorectal consultants and hospital specialists or nurses with endoscopy experience.

On registration, trainees will receive an interactive smartphone App that teaches patient preparation and image recognition of the most common disorders of the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. On completing the App based component, candidates will be provided with access to a browser-based simulator and a library of 20 full capsule videos, progressively graded in complexity – five easy formative cases, five moderate formative cases, five difficult formative cases, then five summative cases.
