BASL and BSG have commissioned The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare to run a series of 3 virtual Sustainable Healthcare webinars.

Speakers: Rosie Hillson, Sustainability Analyst - Rosie joined CSH in May 2021 with a focus on estimating the carbon impacts of healthcare organisations, clinical pathways, and consumables. Her time is split between supporting internal CSH led projects such as the Green Team Competition as well as providing consultancy support to external organisations. Previous projects have included the carbon footprint analysis of commissioned NHS eye test services and estimation of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Scope 1,2 and 3 carbon footprint. Rosie is also part of the team developing and facilitating the carbon footprinting for healthcare course. Ingeborg Steinbach, Lead Sustainability Analyst - Ingeborg has worked for CSH since 2008 supporting healthcare organisations and professionals in embedding sustainability in day-to-day practice. The last eight years, her focus of work has been the economic, environmental and social impact analysis of healthcare organisations and services, quality improvement projects and individual clinical pathways. Ingeborg has led the development and is teaching CSH’s carbon footprinting for healthcare course. She is passionate of using sustainability analytics to improve the sustainability of healthcare.

The webinar is FREE to attend for members and non-members, however, the recordings are only available to BASL and BSG members via catch up.

Time: 6- 7pm (UK time) - 45 minute presentation and 15 minute Q&A.
