Medical students who are interested in Gastroenterology are welcomed to join the Society free of charge.   

Membership will provide access to educational events as well as other relevant information on our specialism. Membership will also allow medical students to apply for bursaries to attend the BSG Annual meeting, as well as covering up to £500 of travel expenses to attend.    

The BSG will be able to assist with speakers for your university events, judges for essay prizes, networking, and opportunities to assist on research projects and audits.    

Conditions of Registration

• You MUST use your university email to register
• During your time at medical school, your membership will have to be renewed annually on 31st July
• When you finish at medical school, you can continue to be a taster member of the BSG at a cost of £24 a year
