We are delighted to endorse the 16th Annual Sheffield Gastroenterology Symposium, taking place 27th September 2024 in Sheffield. This is the largest one day standalone national meeting in the UK (N>350), with a wide range of clinically relevant talks and practice-changing tips. Delegates from the 2023 meeting gave it a 95% excellent/good rating and, best of all, the meeting is entirely free! It is attended by Trainees, Consultants, Specialist Nurses and really anyone who is interested in GI. It is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the UK and also look beyond your own place of work. Sometimes that helps in making decisions about where you want to be as a Consultant or whether you want to do research or a post CCT fellowship. Due to its popularity the meeting has been absorbed into the training programme of Yorkshire, Humber and Midlands Deaneries – it’s fun just come and see for yourself.
