BSG 2025 Elections
Elections for roles within the BSG take place in the spring of each year. There will be a number of elections for BSG Sections including Trainees and AGIP, Higher Committee representative roles, and Clinical Research Groups. The BSG uses a company called Civica Election Services to administer elections. Members will be sent communications about these upcoming elections through Civica, please check your junk folder for emails if you do not receive them. Please also check the BSG Election Policy for more information and in case of election related queries, please contact [email protected].
All BSG members except Taster, Undergraduate, and Honorary members, who have filled out their section interests in their BSG membership profile can stand in elections and vote. BSG members wishing to stand for election must be active members of the relevant section before the election starts in order to be eligible. Members can belong to up to 5 sections, which is determined by your chosen "Section Interests".
As of this year, AGIP BSG Members can apply for the AGIP section roles. They can also participate in BSG-wide elections too. If you are an AGIP member, there will be separate communication going out in light of a first year of running AGIP elections, please check both emails.
